Limbo: the hidden cost of picking big targets
Limbo is the purest shape of the 99% RTP game: one knob, one roll, one number. But the knob hides a trap.
The math
Roll = 0.99 / r, where r is uniform(0,1). You win if the roll ≥ your target. Win chance = 99 / target %. So target 10× wins 9.9%; target 1000× wins 0.099%.
The trap
All targets have the same EV (0.99 × bet). But variance explodes as target grows. At 1000×, you’ll lose 999 rounds out of 1000. Bankroll has to be big enough to absorb that.
High target, low hit rate. Low target, tiny multiplier. There’s no free lunch on a fair game.
