Provably fair, honestly
The phrase “provably fair” means two things at once: the math is visible, and the randomness is committed to before you play.
How it works in theory
A casino publishes a hash of a server seed. You add a client seed. Every round’s result is HMAC-SHA256 of (serverSeed, clientSeed:nonce). After the round (or the session) the casino reveals the server seed. You can verify the hash matches and the results match.
Provably fair proves the casino didn’t pick results. It does not prove the game is a good bet.
What it doesn’t prove
It doesn’t stop a casino from changing the published RTP. It doesn’t stop a casino from refusing to pay. It doesn’t change the expected-value math — 99% RTP is still a losing long-term game.
FreeStake is fully client-side
There’s no server here, so there’s nothing to commit to or reveal. “Provably fair” on this site is an educational demo, not a trust claim. Use the Verifier tab to see the mechanism.
